[Tsuen Tsing Interchange Improvement Projects Completed in Succession | Two New Road Sections Opened on 28th September 2025]

To alleviate traffic congestion around the Tsuen Tsing Interchange, the Department is actively carrying out related improvement works. The following two newly constructed and widened road sections were officially opened at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, 28th September 2025 :

(Figure 1)
  • A newly constructed single-lane roadway, approximately 80 meters long, connecting the eastbound (towards Kowloon) downhill approach of Tsuen Wan Road to Texaco Road (towards Ma Tau Pa Road). (Please refer to Figure 1)
  • Drivers can directly access Texaco Road via the new connecting road without having to navigate the roundabout, effectively diverting traffic flow.
( Figure 2)
  • A 100-meter-long section north of the Tsuen Tsing Interchange will be widened along the eastbound lane of Texaco Road (please refer to Figure 2).
  • After the road is widened, traffic will still be able to flow smoothly even if vehicles stop at the roadside parking areas to pick up or drop off passengers or goods
